Who we are
LiveWhere (livewhere.co.uk) is run by Addie Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17477308), with its registered office at Northwood House, 138 Bromham Road, Bedford, MK40 2QW. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Addie Labs Ltd.
We’re the controller of the personal information described here, which means we decide how and why it’s used. We’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZC265732.

What information we collect
When you browse the site. Pages you visit, searches you make (such as postcodes and town names) and technical details like your IP address, browser and device. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records how you use the site.
When you create an account. Your email address, and if you sign in with Google, your name, email address and profile picture as shared by Google. We don’t receive your Google password.
When you use a property report. The homes you unlock, and any figures you enter, such as an asking price, deposit, mortgage term, council tax band, lease length, service charge or ground rent. We use these to produce your report and its PDF.
When you buy something. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive the product you bought, the amount, the date and Stripe’s reference for the payment, but never your full card details.
Records of your choices. When you buy a report, we record that you asked for it immediately and acknowledged that this ends your 14-day cancellation right. We also record whether you’ve chosen not to receive our email updates, and when.
When you contact us. Your email and anything you tell us.
Information about properties
Our reports use official public data about homes and areas, such as HM Land Registry sale prices, Energy Performance Certificates, flood risk maps, police-recorded crime and school information. Some of this data relates to individual addresses. We don’t add homeowners’ names or contact details, and we only show what these official sources publish, under their open licences. If you think information about your home is wrong, contact the source organisation or email us and we’ll point you to the right place.
How and why we use it
Data protection law requires a lawful basis for each use. These are ours.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who we share it with
We use trusted suppliers to run LiveWhere. They process information only on our instructions.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or other people’s safety.
International transfers. Some of these suppliers, or their own subcontractors, process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as a UK adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it

When you delete your account we remove your account, sign-in sessions, unlocked homes and PDFs straight away, from the live system and then from backups as they expire.
If you delete your account after using your free report, we keep a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address and the date, solely to stop the free report being claimed again with the same address. The hash cannot be turned back into your email address and is not used for anything else.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies.
- Essential cookies keep you signed in and keep the site secure. The site can’t work properly without them, so they don’t need your consent
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand how people use LiveWhere. We only set these if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Get a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong
- Ask us to delete your information (you can delete your account yourself from your account page)
- Ask us to restrict or stop using your information in certain cases
- Receive information you gave us in a reusable format
- Object to marketing at any time, by unsubscribing from our emails or changing your choice on your account page
- Withdraw your consent at any time, for example by changing your cookie choice

Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
LiveWhere is for adults. We don’t knowingly create accounts for, or sell to, anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy when the way we use information changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top. If a change materially affects you, we’ll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
